In 2016, Doug Freeman acquired the firm. Doug and Kelly worked together to ensure a seamless transition, continuing to provide expert tax compliance, tax consulting, and outsourced accounting services while preserving the personalized approach clients had come to expect.

In 2026, Catherine and Andrew became the firm’s new owners, building on more than two decades of trusted service. A key priority throughout the transition was maintaining continuity for our clients, with Doug and the experienced team remaining in place.
Today, Tomahawk Creek Group combines the knowledge and relationships that have defined the firm for over 20 years with the broader business perspective Catherine and Andrew bring as a former CFO and former business operator.
